| Traditionally CD-ROMs have been authored
and produced using the widely used program by Macromedia:
Director. As one who is always keen to experiment, I have
made the decision to steer away from Director and make use
of its web based counterpart, Flash.
The 21st Century New Media CD-ROM was entirely authored
in Flash, pushing the software to its limits and making
use of advanced action script features that allow it to
take a standard static CD-ROM into its animated future!
The CD-ROM is animated throughout with attention to fine
detail and boasts all of 21st Century's high profile work
with the likes of GQ Magazine, New Woman Magazine and Shine
Magazine as well as displaying some of their ever-expanding
web site portfolio.
