21st Century - The Science and Technology
Portal is a futuristic styled portal conceived and created
by 21st Century New Media
Ltd. Their own 'in-house' Internet project features over
350 pages within 12 unique sections, including science, technology,
music, cars, people, places and games.
21stCentury.co.uk showcases the latest programming innovations
with ASP forums and databases for competition entries and
mailing lists. It is rapidly becoming a top UK web site
in its own right, with monthly page impressions topping
100,000 and a growing number of subscribers.
The site has recently been updated to a uniquely innovative
online database system that creates static pages 'on the
fly' in terms of new section, article and graphics. My role,
as part of the 21st Century New Media Team was to reassemble
the site once the new system was in place. I was also responsible
for much of the new design.
